Access control systems enable the creation of access schedules. These schedules establish the time and days of the week that a card is valid for access. Systems also allow the creation of access levels, which are lists of doors to which the cardholder may obtain access. The door list and schedule are paired together, named, and can be associated with groups of cardholders in the system database.
